<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of largely and inexpensively producing rubidium. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises: a stage where dust containing rubidium chloride (inclusion) D is leached into neutral or acidic water, and an dissolved matter is removed from a leach liquor in which at least the rubidium is dissolved; a stage where the pH of the leach liquor is controlled to 8 to 10, and heavy metals are precipitated as hydroxide so as to be removed; a stage where an extractant of rubidium is mixed into the leach liquor, so that the rubidium is extracted from the leach liquor into the extractant; and a stage where the extractant is mixed with a stripping liquid, and the rubidium is stripped from the extractant into the stripping liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
