PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release paper excellent in workability and releasability in continuous manufacture of urethane foam and enabling material recycling. SOLUTION: This release film for manufacturing the urethane foam is constituted by coating at least one surface of a polyester film with hydrocarbonaceous wax. The hydrocarbonaceous wax is paraffin type wax or olefinic wax. The release film for manufacturing the urethane foam is manufactured by applying the hydrocarbonaceous wax to at least one surface of the polyester film before crystal orientation is completed and at least uniaxially stretching the coated polyester to complete crystal orientation.
