PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device capable of uniformly and efficiently heating even a thin object to be heated having a large area by generating a resonance only in a specific and ideal resonance mode in an applicator. SOLUTION: A resonant cavity 2 in which, so to speak, the starting end and the finishing end of the delay circuit is short-circuited is constructed by installing an electromagnetic elements 3 in the resonant cavity 2 of microwave. By this arrangement, resonance of other modes is made not to be generated in the frequency band in the vicinity of a specific frequency value corresponding to the specific resonance mode used for heating in the resonant cavity 2 as an applicator. Namely, the resonance point is dispersed by the electromagnetic element 3 in the resonant cavity 2 so that the resonance point does not come close to each other and only the resonance of a single resonance mode may be generated in the specific frequency band of the microwave oscillator 12 used.
