PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of erroneous reproduction by magnetic degradation of an image recording file with time even when the same image recording file is repeatedly reproduced in a hard disk recorder. SOLUTION: When reproduction of the image recording file A is started, the image recording file A is simultaneously duplicated (copied) to a free area S of a hard disk as a state that compression decoding of the image recording file A is performed. When duplication of the image recording file A is completed and after that, reproduction is terminated, the image recording file A at a reproducing origin is deleted and the deleted area becomes a new free space S". Thus, a recording location of the image recording file A is automatically transferred whenever the image recording file A is reproduced and the magnetic degradation of the image recording file A is prevented.
