PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor suited for outputting images with different detail levels. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with an auxiliary storage device 19 for storing first data with high LOD (Level Of Detail) on a prescribed object image, a main memory 11 storing second data with LOD lower than the first data, a CPU 10 and a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) 18. The CPU 10 calculates an apparent speed of the object image on a display screen and determines which ones out of the first data and the second data are used for a geometry processing of the object image based on the apparent speed. The GPU 18, when performing the geometry processing using the first data, imports the first data from the auxiliary storage device 19 to perform rendering and, when performing the geometry processing using the second data, imports the second data from the main memory 11 to perform rendering.
