PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To typify the impression of a living space objectively relating to comfort and livability into types which can be objectively proposed, and propose floors, fixture, finishing carpentry materials etc. appropriate for the types. SOLUTION: One series of the three attributes (hue, brightness, chroma) of color perception based on a color coordination system of a given color is divided into a plurality of color gamut groups presenting the color gamut of the color scheme of a room; the share of components such as fittings, floor materials, finishing carpentry materials constituting the interior of the room in the total area of the walls and floors of the room is divided into a plurality of area groups by a prescribed range; an array of model groups comprising elements presenting the room which corresponds to one-to-one combination of an optional group belonging to the color gamut groups and an optional group belonging to the area groups is created. By utilizing the array of model groups, a reference for evaluating characteristics of the room as a living space is made, and the living spaces are typified to be proposed.
