PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus to obtain a gas-dissolved liquid of a high concentration for dissolving the gas into a liquid medium. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a mixer and a tank enclosure, and the mixer comprises a semi-Venturi tube and an expansion chamber. During the operation, gas is led into liquid in the semi-Venturi type mixer. A valve fitted to an inlet of the mixer is used to adjust the gas flow so that the flow rate of the gas flowing into the mixer is smaller than the flow rate of the gas sucked into the semi-Venturi tube. Gas is mixed with the liquid flow passing through the semi-Venturi tube under a negative pressure to form small bubbles in the liquid by using the gas suction capacity of the semi-Venturi tube. The liquid containing small bubbles flows out of the mixer, and flows into the tank enclosure to form vortex. The bubbles can stay in the liquid for a long time, which promotes the dissolution of the gas in the liquid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
