PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and program capable of performing the measurement of a communication speed in a state further close to an actual using environment. SOLUTION: This information processor 210a has an information processing task 240a for communicating with a device 210b to be communicated to make the information processor 210a execute information processing assigned to the information processor 210a; a communication task 250a called by the task 240a, when the task 240a communicates with the device 210b, to make an operating system 230a transmit or receive the data to be transmitted or received by the task 240a through a communication interface 232a; and a measurement task 260a for calling the communication task 250a to transfer the data used form the measurement of the communication speed between the task 240a and the device 210b and making the information processor 210a measure the communication speed.
