PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable plotting of data including an undefined variable to improve convenience, in an electronic device having a graph display function. SOLUTION: A user sets a value of display range setting data on a display range, a scale or the like, inputs a numerical formula, and inputs a command for directing drawing of a graph, a table, an increase/decrease table or the like. When a CPU 10 decides that the display range setting data or the numerical formula inputted by the user includes the undefined variable, the CPU 10 calculates a value temporarily substituted for the undefined variable. The CPU 10 substitutes the calculated value for the display range setting data or the numerical formula, calculates graph data, table data or increase/decrease table data, and displays the graph, the table, the increase/decrease table or the like on a display part 40.
