摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps stand up mechanism for an ultrasonic endoscope by which the tip of a treatment tool never contacts with an ultrasonic probe when laying the forceps stand up mechanism to a limit even in the case of the treatment tool of a small cross section diameter, and the curved angle of the tip part can markedly be varied by standing the forceps stand up mechanism to a limit even in the case of the treatment tool of a large cross section diameter. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic endoscope comprises: an opening part of a forceps channel at the tip of an insertion part; and the ultrasonic probe positioned in front of this opening part and emitting ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic endoscope has, at the opening part of the forceps channel: a pressing table and floating table suitably fitted to shafts parallel to each other; a treatment tool insertion hole communicated with the forceps channel formed between the pressing table and the floating table; an energizing means for energizing the floating table in the direction of reducing the size of the treatment tool insertion hole; and an operation wire the one end of which is connected with the side of the free end part of the pressing table and the other end of which can be drawn-operated on the side of an operation part.
