PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod balance-adjusting mechanism which enables the necessary and sufficient adjustment of the balance even in the case of a medium-sized or small-sized spinning rod. SOLUTION: This spinning rod balance-adjusting mechanism is characterized by separating the grip portion 11 of the spinning rod 10 from the tail portion 12, integrating the grip portion 11 with the tail portion 12 through an adjusting portion 16 comprising a screw member 22 having a female screw 21 and also used as an adjusting weight and a shaft member 24 having a male screw 23 capable of being engaged with the female screw 21, and rotating the tail portion 12 to forward or backward move the tail portion in the direction of the shaft member 24, whereby the total length from the grip portion 11 to the tail portion 12 can be adjusted.
