<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user or a service engineer to easily perform attachment and removal of a recovered toner tank, in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A retainer of the recovered toner tank 21 comprises a rear plate 23 engaged with the side of a rear face 20a of an image forming apparatus body 20; a side plate 25 rotatably attached to the rear plate 23 and constituting part of a side 20b of the image forming apparatus body 20; and a bottom plate 26, formed integrally on the lower end side of the rear plate 23 and removably supporting the toner tank 18. The retainer 21 is housed in a tank housing space 22 of the image forming apparatus body 20. The rear plate 23 and the side plate 25 are fixed.
