<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a longitudinal direction of a range hood to be installed on a wall surface cannot be installed for an open kitchen. <P>SOLUTION: In this range hood mounting device 40, a supporting member 41 and a mounting member 42 are configured in a shape having an approximately L-shaped cross section, the supporting member 41 is fixed on the wall surface A, and a back side of the range hood 20 or a mounting surface is fixed on the mounting member 42.
