摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a substrate/metal plate 1 and a solar battery cell 3 with a higher adhesive strength by an EVA resin 2d and thereby to obtain a solar battery panel having a superior weather-resistant property and an excellent durability, by using a coated metal plate having a polar group-oriented coated surface as a solar battery substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The solar battery substrate is such that a coating film 1b formed of a coating composition is formed on the front surface of the metal plate 1a. The coating composition is made by blending tetra alkoxy silane or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof into polyvinylidene fluoride-based fluorine-contained resin having no functional group at a rate of 0.5-100 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of coating resin.
