PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving circuit that can rotate from a stopped state by surely following-up a pulse signal, and to provide a radio clock.
SOLUTION: The radio clock is provided with a motor 120 containing a coil 121b which generates a magnetic field in accordance with an input signal and a rotor 121c which is rotated based on the angular moment corresponding to the magnetic field generated by means of the coil 121b and the magnetic moment 121m generated by means of a built-in magnet. The clock is also provided with a control circuit (the motor driving circuit) 14 which inputs a torque signal P2 for generating a magnetic field H used for rotating the rotor 121c in a second direction which is reverse to a first direction until the rotor 121c reaches a rotated position at which the angular moment required for rotating the rotor 121c in the first direction can be obtained to the coil 121b at the time of rotating the rotor 121c in the first direction from the stopped state. After the rotor 121c is positioned to the rotated position, the control circuit 14 inputs a driving signal and a pulse signal P which generates the magnetic field H used for rotating the rotor 121c in the first direction to the coil 121b.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
