<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oral composition such as a food product or a pharmaceutical preparation colored with carmine as a natural substance-derived coloring matter, and to provide a method for producing the oral composition. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the oral composition comprises coloring the food product or the pharmaceutical preparation with a red colorant obtained by a method comprising dispersing carmine with one or more kinds of emulsifier, thickening stabilizer and various materials having emulsifying and stabilizing effects followed by micronization, or micronizing carmine followed by dispersion using one or more kinds of emulsifier, thickening stabilizer and various materials having emulsifying and stabilizing effects, or dissolving carmine in an alkaline solution once followed by adding a stabilizer, or the like, to the resultant solution and then depositing crystals with an acidic solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
