<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in replacing an existing snap tap for a new snap tap by inserting a water stop tool comprising an elastic cylindrical body expanded and contracted by the advancing/retracting of an expanding contracting operation body at its tip, from the existing snap tap, and expanding the elastic cylindrical body to close the snap tap in replacing the snap tap, that the elastic cylindrical body is worn out by repeatedly press fitting and removing the expanding contracting operation body in a state of slidably kept into contact with the inside of the elastic cylindrical body, and further a lowering position of the expanding contracting operation body is measured by a gauge from the external as the expanding contracting operation body is fixed to the advancing/contracting mechanism, and the position of the expanding/contracting operation is fixed. <P>SOLUTION: An adaptor 3 is mounted on an upper edge of the old snap tap, a water stopping shaft 1 is fitted in the adaptor to open the old snap tap, the water stopping shaft is inserted into a distributing pipe, a lower end expanding contracting part of the water stop shaft tip expanding contracting body 2 is enlarged by being crushed, and simultaneously the expanding contracting body is entirely expanded in a diversion hole to tightly close the diversion hole, whereby the old snap tap can be removed and a new snap tap can be mounted in a state that the water flow is blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
