<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator for reporting the correct operation state of the concentrator to a patient, and also adequately detecting a fault which occurs when the concentrator is operated. <P>SOLUTION: The flow rate of humidified oxygen is detected in the oxygen concentrator. When the state with the low detection flow rate continues for a fixed time in such a degree that the detection flow rate exceeds a fixed threshold after comparison with a set flow rate, the pressure of humidified oxygen is detected.
