<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a volatile antibacterial agent reasonably. <P>SOLUTION: A duct 200 of the air conditioner has an opening 250 of which inside is exposed and a lid section 240 for closing the opening, and the volatile antibacterial agent 600 is arranged in the lid section. The duct is made of air permeable material, the outer surface of the duct supports a support body forming a hollow section between it and the duct, and the volatile antibacterial agent is arranged in the hollow section. A filter of an air conditioning means has a corrugated filter body and a frame, the volatile antibacterial agent is stored in a case made of air permeable material, and the case is inserted into a valley of the filter body. The volatile antibacterial agent is stored in the case made of the air permeable material, and the case is engaged with the frame of the filter.
