PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner ensuring good printing quality in an early stage, excellent also in stability of image quality in continuous printing, having stable cleanability, causing no filming on a photoreceptor, a developing roller, etc., and excellent also in low temperature fixability, and to provide a developer containing the toner, an image forming method using the toner, a vessel holding the toner, and an image forming apparatus in which the toner is charged. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by dissolving or dispersing at least a prepolymer comprising a modified polyester resin, a compound which extends or crosslinks with the prepolymer, and a colorant in an organic solvent, bringing the resulting solution or dispersion into a crosslinking reaction and/or a sequence reaction in an aqueous medium, and removing the solvent from the resulting dispersion, and the toner contains a fluorine compound.
