SPEED DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed display for a vehicle for making display precision of a speed correspond to a real vehicle speed in both during 2WD traveling and during 4WD traveling. SOLUTION: A vehicular speed calculation part 51 calculates a vehicular speed in response to output of a speed sensor 22. A 2WD/4WD detection part 52 inputs the vehicular speed calculated with the vehicular speed calculation part 51 by changing over to a 2WD correction part 53 or a 4WD correction part 54 in response to whether the vehicle is during 2WD traveling or during 4WD traveling. A 2WD correction part 53 corrects the vehicular speed calculated with the vehicular speed calculation part 51 by using a 2WD correction coefficient. A 4WD correction part 54 corrects the vehicular speed calculated with the vehicular speed calculation 51 by using a 4WD correction coefficient during 2WD traveling.
