摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for properly suppressing the rotation of a range counter shaft in addition to solving means for shortening a required time for gear change control involving the change-over of a range type sub-transmission. SOLUTION: This vehicular transmission device having the range type sub-transmission for changing over the reducing ratio of a main transmission between Low and High comprises means S1-S12, whereby when a gear change instruction is generated involving the change-over of the range type sub-transmission from Low to High, in the non-geared state of the main transmission, a range counter shaft brake is controlled to be operated but canceled when a difference between the rotating speed of the range counter shaft and the rotating speed of an output shaft is in a preset range while the range type sub-transmission being held in a non-geared condition during operating the range counter shaft brake is controlled to be geared to High on canceling the range counter brake.
