<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support registration system equipped with a member for combination for correctly supplying plates for a printing system into an imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: The system is equipped in its arrangement with a support storage system in which one or a plurality of the supports, such as the plates, are stacked and housed. The system is provided with a support take-up unit in order to take up the support from the stack of the supports. The support is then sent to a transportation system for transporting the support to the imaging system. The upstream of the imaging system is provided with the support registration system.
