PANEL AND CASSETTE FOR SHOOTING RADIATION IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at a low cost a panel and a cassette for photographing radiation images which have durability.

SOLUTION: The panel 30 for photographing radiation images has a structure where a stimulable phosphor layer 32 that consists of stimulable phosphors using alkali halide as a parent body is formed through a vapor phase growth method on the irradiated side of a supporting plate 31 and a heavy metal sheet 33 is located on the side opposite to the irradiated side of the supporting plate 31. Moreover, the panel 30 is accommodated in the cassette 1 for shooting radiation images that has a structure where a back plate 20 holds the side opposite to the stimulable phosphor layer side of the panel 30 and a front plate 10 located on the stimulable phosphor layer side of the panel 30 is provided so that it can freely be attached to and detached from the back plate 20.
