PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce soil caused by conductive toner particles that discharge electric charges with which recording paper is electrified and to reduce environmental pollution caused by ozone. SOLUTION: A discharge part 74 includes: an electric conductor 70 disposed along the width of recording paper and along a conveyance path for the recording paper with a toner image transferred thereto; and a switching circuit 72 connected between the conductor 70 and ground potential and conducted in a predetermined period.
