PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable with an improved shielding performance, especially at a low-frequency band. SOLUTION: The coaxial cable, for use for various kinds of signal transmission by being fitted to a car, is structured with an inner conductor 1, an insulation layer 3, three-layer or four-layer outer conductor layers 5, 7, 9 made of metal braids formed of tin-plated soft copper wires, and an exterior covering 11. By the effect of structuring the three layers of the outer conductor layers 5, 7, 9 formed of the metal material, a shielding performance, especially at a low-frequency band, can be improved.
