PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank for monitoring fish, capable of accurately discriminating contained toxic substances included in raw water by maintaining a prescribed amount of water inlet and a prescribed amount of water discharge of raw water, creating an environment for fish in the rearing water tank, and monitoring the fish in the water tank for monitoring the contained toxic substances included in the raw water taken from rivers and lakes as drinking water by the behavior of the fish. SOLUTION: The water tank for monitoring the contained toxic substances included in the raw water by the behavior of the fish is divided into a water-receiving tank, a heater water tank, a pump water tank, and the rearing water tank, and water passage holes are each formed in partition walls to pass the raw water through them. The heater water tank is provided with a heater, and the pump water tank is provided with both an aerator and an underwater pump. The rearing water tank is provided with circumferential wall plates at four locations and a fish-capturing net. In the fish-capturing net, a rod is raised at the approximate center part of the rearing water tank, a fixing part of the rod is provided with a protective net, and the protective net part is fitted over a dust extraction pipe.
