The transporting case of plastic for heavy products has a bottom (1) with four trapezoidal surfaces (5,6) and a rectangular surface (4) in the middle between them and parallel to the upper edge of the case. The trapezoidal surfaces with the rectangular surface and side walls (2) include an obtuse angle which is greater than 90 degrees. The trapezoidal surfaces on their underside support ribs (8) standing perpendicularly to the side walls and extend with tapering from the side walls to the rectangular surface. A diagonally extending rib is located in the boundary regions between the trapezoidal surfaces.
