DIVERSITY SYSTEM FOR MEASURING RECEPTION QUALITY

To assist an operator to position a wireless camera (CSF) so that a base station (SB) receives with good quality a radiofrequency signal (S) transmitted from a transmitter (EC) linked to the camera, several measurers (M1-MK) linked to diversity receivers (R1-RK) of the signal each determine whether a characteristic of the signal via the respective receiver satisfies a reception criterion (TH). In the base station, a counter (COM) counts the receivers satisfying the reception criterion, and a divider (DIV) establishes a reception quality indicator (QR) dependent on the number of satisfactory receivers so as in particular to retransmit it via a return channel (VR) to the camera so that it can be displayed thereon.
