<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute image processing reflecting photographic conditions and photographer's intention by mutually utilizing photographic information, image processing control information. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor 10 acquires an image quality characteristic value by analyzing image data and determines scene correcting conditions, optional correcting conditions by using the photographic information SI, the image processing control information GI corresponding to the image data. The image processor 10 preferentially adopts information of the image processing control information GI, on the other hand, about information which does not exist in the image processing control information GI, adopts it from the photographic information SI and contrives effective mutual use of the image processing control information GI and the photographic information SI. The image processor 10 determines automatic correction quantity AP based on the acquired image quality characteristic value, scene correcting conditions, optional correcting conditions, also determines manual correction quantity MP based on manual correcting conditions of the image processing control information GI, and executes image quality adjustment processing of the image data by using the determined automatic correction quantity AP and manual correction quantity MP. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
