<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the body from being injured and the hands and legs from being caught in a side fence. <P>SOLUTION: A protective cover 6 is mounted on the upper half part of a fence part 5 by a holder 7. The protective cover 6 is formed of a foam resin plate, folded in two and put on an upper pipe from above the fence part 5 to be mounted. As the protective cover 6, the dimensions are such that both end parts 6E, 6E are set long to cover both end sides of the fence part 5, and the middle part 6C covers the substantially upper half part of the fence part 5. Both end parts 6E, 6E respectively abut on a head board 8 without gap and abut on the fence part of the side fence mounted on the foot side without gap. The end parts 6E, 6E and the middle part 6C of the protective cover 6 are provided with loading holes 9 bored in every key position for mounting the holder 7 to clamp the bent protective cover 6 through the fence part 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
