<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device with high reliability in which application states of an oil repellent agent can be easily and visually inspected, a preventive function such as spreading of wetting by the oil repellent film can be maintained without burdening conventional manufacturing processes, and a generation amount of an out-gas is reduced; and a spindle motor for the hard disk drive to which the same is mounted. <P>SOLUTION: The oil repellent agent is composed of a UV color former component, a fluorine polymer, and a solvent. The concentration of the UV color former component in the oil repellent agent is adjusted to≥150 ppm and≤300 ppm. And, the concentration of the fluorine polymer is adjusted to≥0.2 mass % and≤0.5 mass %. After applying the oil repellent agent, it is dried at a room temperature. It is left as it is for about one hour under the environment where the temperature is≥90°C and≤150°C through visual inspection. As a result, the oil repellent film is fixed and formed. The sleeve and the shaft with the oil repellent film are incorporated to the dynamic pressure bearing device. Also, the dynamic pressure bearing device is mounted to the spindle motor for the hard disk drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
