<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for distributing multimedia contents to a mobile multimedia terminal, which can distribute the same multimedia content to a plurality of mobile terminals without knowing an identifier for a destination address to imply a distribution, and furthermore, by specifying a geographical location of the mobile terminal with the destination address. <P>SOLUTION: A server 101 for distributing the multimedia contents stores the the multimedia contents in a multimedia content memory 104, allocates a service identifier to each multimedia content being stored, relates a geographical area identifier to the service identifier, and generates a message for distributing the multimedia contents. The message for distributing the contents comprises the identifier and the address, which relate to the multimedia contents, an also the service identifier.
