PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten charging time by realizing charging with a higher current value than an existing way. SOLUTION: By charging a battery while both main surfaces 30a, 30b of the battery 30 are pressed with a battery pressing part 5, since the battery is charged with the surfaces facing a positive electrode and a negative electrode approached, charging is conducted while increase in internal pressure is suppressed, and a charging current value can be made higher to shorten the charging time.
