PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously wind in-phase connection wires, without cutting them and to enhance the space factor of coils formed of a strand with respect to a method for manufacturing an rotary electric machine comprising an annular yoke, teeth coupled radially with the yoke, and a stator where the coils are wound on the teeth via bobbins. SOLUTION: The bobbins 18 in one phase are disposed at equal angles with a gap sufficient to insert the yoke 12 provided in the center so that their respective holes are arranged in a radial pattern. The strand 19 is wound on a bobbin 18 to form a coil 20, and the strand 19 is passed to the next bobbin 18; the strand 19 is wound to form another coil 20; and this operation is repeated, to form the coils 20 in all the in-phase bobbins 18. The in-phase bobbins 18 are inserted into the yoke 12 in the center part, and then tooth bodies 16 are inserted into the holes in the bobbins 18 from the outside and are coupled with the yoke 12.
