PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce registering work and improve accuracy by automating the work of a person in charge of the work as much as possible, when setting a line termination device. SOLUTION: An ONU registering device 12 comprises a bar code data reader 13 for inputting a serial number indicated with barcode into an ONU 11 to register in an OLT 23, a barcode data transmitter 14 for transmitting barcode data to the OLT 23 through a communication line via an OpS 24, and a registration confirmation receiver for receiving registration confirming information of the ONU 11 from the OLT 23.
