PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the 12-figure BD_ADDR of a connected end to a number below 12 figures so as to reduce the size of a BD_ADDR display device. SOLUTION: A first process (S1) of installing the BD_ADDR of the connected end in an ADDR_T stored inside a connecting end BD, a second process (S2) of making the remainder of n figures obtained by dividing the hexadecimal 12-figure BD_ADDR of the connected end by 16<SP>n</SP>serve as a New_BD_ADDR of the connected end, a third process (S3) of determining whether the n-figure New_BD_ADDR is coincident with a BD_ADDR existent in the ADDR_T or not, a fourth process (S4) of changing the attribute of the character of the n-figure New_BD_ADDR when it is found that the n-figure New_BD_ADDR is coincident with a BD_ADDR, and a sixth process (S6) of displaying the n-figure New_BD_ADDR or the New_BD_ADDR whose attribute of the character is changed on a display screen.
