Liquid or gaseous fluid passing from a chamber 18 to an outlet by way of a conduit 15 and chamber 14, is given a rotational motion in one direction or the other by the pressure difference between two tangential input tubes 16, 17 to cause fluid leaving a radial outlet 26 from the chamber 14 to pass into either of two outlet channels 34, 36, or into a central outlet channel 35 in the absence of a rotational component.
