The gas bottle (1), to hold a compressed gas under a high pressure, has at least one body (2) with a connecting side (4) and/or connecting flange to take a connector (6) through its opening with a screw thread (5). At least one flow brake (7) is in the flow bath for the gas out of the bottle, durably bonded to the bottle body at the connecting side or to the connector, to block the flow on an abrupt increase. The flow brake has a porous structure, in one piece of a sintered metal.
