The invention relates to a photovoltaic cell assembly and the method of producing one such assembly. The photovoltaic cells (1a, 1b) of the assembly are disposed side by side between front (10) and rear (11) glass substrates and are connected in series by means of front (12) and rear (13) bonding conductors and interconnection elements (14). Said bonding conductors can be: (i) formed on the internal face of each glass substrate opposite the location of each of the cells; or (ii) obtained by the laser cutting, through the glass substrates, of conductive bands which already extend between the cells and the glass substrates. The electric interconnection elements (14) are disposed between two adjacent cells (1) in order to connect opposing bonding conductors which are associated with two adjacent cells. A sealing joint (16), which is made from a mineral material and disposed between the two glass substrates (10, 11), defines an internal sealed volume which contains all the cells (1). Said sealing is performed at a temperature of between 380 DEG C and 480 DEG C for a period of less than 30mn. |
