Polyester film with a base layer (B) and at least one outer layer (A), in which the outer layer (A) contains poly-(m-xylylene adipamide). An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of this polyester film by making a multilayer film by coextrusion and forming the melt into a flat film, stretching the film biaxially and then heat-fixing.
