A panel, preferably a windscreen glass 10 bonded to a vehicle body, has a trim strip 16 provided towards the edge 10A of the panel and which may assist in sealing. The strip is secured to the panel by means of bonding material 20, which may be polyurethane, preferably located in a channel 18C formed in the strip. The strip is arranged to cover the bonding material and a primer may be applied to the panel before application of the bonding material. The strip may have a flexible sealing lip 18B. The polyurethane material 20 may be injected from the longitudinal end of the channel 18C or though an opening in the panel. |
