摘要 Spent gas purification masses (GM) are pretreated and decontaminated. The spent masses are then kept at a high temperature, practically at atmospheric pressure. Compounds resulting from the heat treatment are processed to yield utilizable industrial products. The GMs are comminuted to less than 3 mm particle size and heat treated at a minimum of 1000[deg]C, in an air-free enclosure. Reduction by a gas follows. These actions liberate compounds that were captured over the years by the primary material. Freed components are separated into useful industrial products. A high iron concentration containing product is prepared from the residual primary matter. Alternatively technical facilities of an operating foundry coking plant are employed for purification. The GM is mixed with mineral coal prior to coking. Compounds liberated as a result of heat decomposition are reduced by raw chamber-gases. Foundry-coke is made use of in iron-foundries and industrial products such as coal-tar, ammonia and sulfur are obtained having made use of the gas purification facilities of the plant.
