Laundry dryer and process to control the heating power

The method involves determining a maximum drying period, starting the drying process with a first heating power to heat the drying air, determining the time difference between first (T0) and second times (T1a,T2a,..) at which first (100) and second (80, 60,..) degrees of humidity are achieved, comparing the time difference with a desired value and increasing the heating power if the time difference exceeds the desired value or reducing it if smaller. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a washer-dryer, especially an exhaust air washer-dryer.
