The board, for a board game with two or more players, has two basic modules (1,2) with an equal or different number of playing zones (S). The playing paths (9-1 to 9-8) lead from the start point banks (B) through the playing zones to the finish (Z). The modules are assembled together to form the playing board, and can be extended by additional insert modules (3) with playing zones between them. The modules are held together by burr contact strips or magnets.
