Adhesive composition comprises an alkyl trialkoxysilane derivative (I) and an acetylacetone derivative (II). An Independent claim is also included for producing the composition by hydrolyzing a solution of (I) at acid pH, filtering the solution and concentrating the solution under vacuum, where (II) is added to the solution before or after hydrolysis.
