PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a fatty composition for being inserted, easy to be heated up, having a great variety of flavors, excellent in a eating feeling, volume and processability in designing, and useful for multilayered foods or the like. SOLUTION: This fatty composition for being inserted, in which a flavoring material exists in its own layer in a separated state from fatty part, is produced by hollowing out slots in a sheet-like or block-like fat or their composition of butter, margarine, shortening, or the like and by filling, coating or spraying a flavoring material (e.g. jam) pref. in a quantity of 5-80 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. fatty composition for being inserted. It is preferable that the content of solid fat is 20-65% at 10 deg.C, 10-50% at 20 deg.C, 5-35% at 30 deg.C and 0-25% at 35 deg.C, and a multilayered food such as a pie is made by using the fatty composition. |
