The machine door lock with emergency release has a housing (1) and a bolt (2) controlled by a connection mechanism (3,4) with an external actuator supported in the housing. The lock has a manually operated lock emergency release (11,12,14) with a transmission (12,14) and the release controlling a stop (30) which locks the emergency release when the carrier is in a normal drive position of the machine.
