METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING ADAPTIVE BEAM USING FEEDBACK STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for forming an adaptive beam using a feedback structure are provided to completely cancel noise components included in broadband aural signals by connecting adaptive blocking filters and adaptive canceling filters in a feedback structure. CONSTITUTION: A fixed beam former(410) compensates delay time of M aural signals inputted from a microphone array(411) formed of M microphones(411a,411b,411c). The fixed beam former adds up the compensated aural signals. A multichannel signal separator(430) generates pure noise components from the M aural signals by using M adaptive blocking filters(431a,431b). The multichannel signal separator generates pure voice components from the output signals of the fixed beam generator by using M adaptive canceling filters(435a,435b) connected with the M adaptive blocking filters in a feedback structure.
