PURPOSE: A silencer for a compressor is provided to prevent current noise with filtering efficiently by stably passing air through an air filter without vortex, and to remove diffusion noise by forming a resonant chamber and a resonance offset plate with stably collecting air through the air filter. CONSTITUTION: A silencer installed in an intake port of a compressor comprises a body part(10) having plural exhaust ports(12) in the upper part of a body(11), a thick intake pipe(13) penetrating from the closed left to the open right, a cover bolt(14) formed in the left end of the intake pipe, a filter assembling part(15) fixed to a bracket(14a), a resonant chamber bolt(16) supported and fixed to a bracket(16a), and a round current shutoff plate(17); a filter part(20) combined with the body part by the cover bolt; and a resonance offset part(30) combined with the body part by the resonant chamber bolt.
